Jorun Burman Berg (b. 1984, Stockholm) is a mixed-media artist working with text, photography, digital media, objects, and drawing. Her research-driven practice explores the elusive nature of truth, blending fact and fiction to reconsider how history, science, and reality are constructed. Through installations and participatory works, she creates non-linear narratives that invite reflection on the limits of understanding.
With a background in fine arts and philosophy, Burman Berg is engaged in interdisciplinary dialogue. Awarded the Bernadotte Scholarship (2023), she developed DIS, DIS-, DIS(-), a project examining truth in art and knowledge. She has exhibited internationally, published the award-winning artist book IMAGO (2018), and contributes essays on art and music.
